Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty was born on 1 October 1995 at Berkeley, California, USA. She is a famous actress who has appeared in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie Mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into a family of actors and filmmakers, both occupations which she herself has been pursuing. At nine years of age, Asia made her film debut alongside Sergio Citti in Sogni e bisogni. She portrayed the lead character in Cristina Comencini's first feature film Zoo (1988) and as well as being part of Michele Soavi's ensemble in The Church (1989). Then, in 1989, she played Nanni Moretti's (also directed) daughter in Red Wood Pigeon. Close Friends, written and directed by Michele Placido in 1992, was where Asia's career took off. From playing young girls, she shifted to more complicated and mature roles. It was a huge success in the Cannes International Film Festival. She's made three films with her dad, Trauma, The Stendhal syndrome and Phantom of the opera. The Phantom of the Opera marks her third collaboration with her father. The others are Trauma as well as The Stendhal Syndrome. Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato A Nozze showed Asia's absorption way that she exhibited in her acting. In 1993, she played Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista. The role was so complex that she won the David di Donatello award as the most outstanding actress. The actress was again a part of Michel Piccoli on Peter Del Monte's Traveling Companion in 1995, giving her a second David di Donatello as well as the title Grolla D'oro. Asia took up directing as a career in 1994. Her first short film was Prospettive. A documentary she made about her dad followed by Abel/Asia (1998) the film that was awarded a prize at the Rome Film Festival and was the two films she directed between 1996 and 1998. Asia started directing her first feature film in 1999. It was Scarlet Diva (2000). She was also the main actress, and the author of the script. The film premiered in May 2000 in Italy as well as the rest of the world. The film was awarded an award at the Williamsburg Film Festival in Brooklyn, New York. Anna Lou was her first born daughter in 2001. After directing several music videos, she got Anna Lou. In 2002 Asia appeared in The Red Siren with Jean Marc Barr, and Rob Cohen's Action thriller, which was directed by Vin Diesel. Asian's short stories have been featured in prestigious publications.
